My research centers on (1) the evolution of planetary bodies in the Solar System, (2) the formation of large igneous provinces, (3) the application of mineral magnetism to problems in geomagnetic field behavior, rock magnetism, and geoarchaeology.

ABOUT ME
I am a Professor in the Geological Sciences at the Chungnam National University in Daejeon, South Korea. I direct the CNU Rock Magnetism Laboratory. My principal research interests are in (1) the evolution of planetary bodies in the Solar System, (2) the formation of large igneous provinces, (3) the application of mineral magnetism to problems in geomagnetic field behavior, rock magnetism, and geoarchaeology.
